Joshua Soto-Cordowin, of Puerto Rican and Salvadorean descent, has been dancing since the age of 16 for various Las Vegas salsa companies, including Salsoleros and Ae Cumaye. He has also served as director of his own dance companies, Enfuego Latin Dance Company and Happy Feet Latin Dance Company. He has performed at Salsa Congresses all over the country, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Salt Lake, and San Francisco. In Las Vegas, he has been a featured performer at the Tropicana, Caesar’s Palace, and the New York New York Hotel and Casino. His performances exhibit a proficiency in advanced salsa footwork, body movement, and styling, which is enhanced by a natural musicality and the ability to express sincere emotion through movement.
Joshua has been active in expanding the Las Vegas salsa community through instruction at many dance studios and athletic facilities. He has an intense passion for dance and the ability to make that enthusiasm contagious with his students.
